Piccadilly AV were very proud to be involved with the 2011 Comic Relief “Thank You” party, held at Fabric in London, celebrating 2011 as a record fund raising year for Comic Relief.
700 guests who had been involved in Comic Relief 2011, including staff, sponsors and celebrities were invited to a party where CEO Kevin Cahill and Co founder Richard Curtis thanked everyone involved for their fantastic efforts in raising a record breaking £104 Million Pounds for the charity.
Piccadilly was asked to provide the AV support for the event, and we installed a red stage set, incorporating a large screen with a 15000 lumen projector and 2 60” Plasma screens to relay the messages to the guests. We worked with the amazing staff at Fabric to make this what one guest called “Undoubtedly the best ‘show’ we’ve ever put on!”. Lorraine Kelly announced the record breaking figure and after the presentations everyone was entertained by special sets from Clare Grogan, Toyah and Limahl, who had all been involved in raising funds for Comic Relief this year.
