Piccadilly AV in Venice
Piccadilly AV on behalf of Pantechnicon have recently completed a two week presentation for AGCO/FENDT/Massey Ferguson in the Crown Plaza Hotel Venice Italy.
Piccadilly provided a turnkey service including Set, Video, Sound, Lighting & logistics from their extensive in house resources.
The event was to brief dealers from all over Europe on the sales of harvesting machines and included a full conference on day one and a trip around Venice (including the unusual sight of a Combine Harvester in the Grand Canal) followed by dinner and field demonstrations on day two.
Pantechnicon’s design called for a set which had an “industrial” feel using an unusual corrugated sheets with panels stood forward of it all up lit by LED battens to enable colour changes and integrating a flown 16:9 screen. The side walls of the room were then masked by using a truss system with custom drapes and panels which were also up lit with LED fittings.
Technically Piccadilly installed computers to run Power Point and video clips with a live camera all mixed on site with a scaled switcher and distributed to the main screen and confidence monitors as well as the translators. Additionally a separate presenter visual cue system was installed for the presenters, translators & show caller in the various languages. Piccadilly used a Logic sound system and a mixture of generic and LED lights.
The onsite technicians were particularly challenged to follow various different languages and had rehearsals to acquaint themselves with the cues in a foreign language.
Logistically Piccadilly shipped all the equipment and set in two 7.5t trucks from head office to Venice & return via Eurotunnel.
Piccadilly AV proved their “cost effective” credentials by beating local Italian suppliers on price and creative support for the event.
