Piccadilly Manchester were enlisted to help in the exclusive pre-view of the new JLS DVD at the HMV Institute Birmingham.
Lucky fans of JLS won the chance to watch the DVD with the band on Piccadillys’ 22ft projection screen. Using double projection from two stacked Barco HD 6,000 Ansi Lumen Projector, the images were rear projected on stage. The use of rear projection ensured a consistent image, with no interference from audience movement, and also allowed the band to do an introduction in front of the screen. By using twin stacked projection of the DVD a brighter and richer image was achieved. Accompanying the DVD projection was the Roland V-1600 HD vision mixer, allowing the crew to seamlessly switch between sources.
Each band member was provided with Sennheiser hand held radio mics for their introduction to the fans.
